Cheick Kongo Dominates Shawn Jordan at UFC 149

Cheick Kongo just proved to UFC president Dana White that he still has what it takes to be in the winning column.

Kongo defeated Shawn Jordan by a unanimous decision with fans showing displeasure with how the game was played, slow.

The heavyweight match was all Kongo from the start, as Jordan failed to take Kongo down. Kongo not wanting to engaged on the floor throw punches and landed those significantly. In the second round, Kongo slipped, and Jordan took advantage of this but was not able to capitalize on this situation.

At the end of the third round, it was all Kongo, and all three judges scored the match in his favor, 30-28, 30-27, 30-27. Well it looks like he still has some juice for a shot at the title and only White knows if Kongo can still remain at the banner.
