Fighting for UFC Is Not My Big Dream – Fernandes
Last month the MMA world especially the UFC banner was rocked when they announced that Bibiano Fernandes has signed a deal with them, but later on said that the Brazilian fighter was pulled out from the UFC 149 event slated in Calgary, Canada, to which Fernandes recanted that he was never a UFC fighter to begin with.
Now, after signing a deal ONE FC, the former DREAM fighter said that fighting for the word’s biggest MMA organization was not his dream after all. In an interview this is what Fernandes has to say, “I’ve fought all my life in Japan. Most of my fans live there. I guess One FC is just an extension of Dream.”
”It’s not Dream, but the guys there have been helping one another at One FC. If you really look at it, you’ll see the guys that used to work on Dream here,” he added.
ONE FC boasts the like ot Shinya Aoki and Tatsuya Kawajiri who will be competing in Manila City, Philippines this coming August 31, 2012.
