UFC MMA fighter Gegard Mousasi suffered from a torn ACL and is on his way to recovery.
The former Strikeforce and DREAM Champion happily announced that he is again on the road to recovery and anticipates a return to the octagon either by November or December.
In an interview Mousasi said “I’m planning on the recovery, but I’m planning to enjoy life a little bit.”
He added, “In the past, I’ve always been training, always about the sport. Once you have this injury, you discover other stuff. I plan on having a good time.”
This is the second time that Mousasi has injured his ACL, the first was during a fight with Mike Kyle in 2012. His recent injury was against Ilir Latifi at UFC on FUEL TV 9 wherein “The Dreamcatcher” won by decision.
Mousasi also said that he is mulling on moving up to 185 lbs on his return to the cage.
