UFC heavyweight MMA fighter Roy Nelson is on the run and has already won three consecutive fights, and now he is looking for a shot at the heavyweight belt currently held by Cain Velasquez.
Recently, Nelson beat highly regarded MMA fighter Cheick Kongo in the very first round.
When asked whether he’d face Daniel Cormier, Nelson said that he thinks he doesn’t need to fight Cormier, but would really want a shot at the title against Velasquez. He added, “I just want to fight the guy that has the belt. If I lose, then I lose, but just give me that one chance and I bet you I can knock their block off.”
Nelson also said that UFC’s heavyweight pool is not shallow, and in fact he believes that the pool is rally competitive.
