But just like a true warrior, Sonnen did not complain nor did he say anything bad about his opponent. As a matter of fact he was all praise that night saying that the better man beat him that night.

He was winning the match in the first round, surprising Silva with his antics, but in the second second, he made the biggest mistake. A spinning back caused him to loss his balance, and that was all that Silva needed. Everything else was history.

After the match, the two warriors seemed to cordial with each other, and the winner even invited Sonnen to a barbeque at his home.

Sonnen added that Silva is the greatest fighter in the history of the MMA.
